Holding the two legs together as they were sawn, draw an outside outline of the legs, keeping them rather plump at this stage. The only wood taken off the inside of the legs is the small "v" at the top that fits against the lower pelvis eventually. Also, the bottom of the foot is drawn in what Adina and I like to refer to at the "duck foot." The top shape also is shaped this way. I know it looks odd, but it will help resolve the dreaded Pigeon Toed Hitty Syndrome. With a knife, remove wood outside these lines.
