Sequoia disappeared from the Dayton Woodcarving Show, Saturday, November 9, 2013. She is a hand carved, reproduction Hitty doll, about 6" tall. Dark wood, black hair, last seen wearing a dark blue long sleeved dress with flower print and tatted lace collar. This doll, Sequoia, is my own doll, is not for sale, and is of great personal value to me. If you have any information about where she might be, please send me a message. No questions will be asked and I will believe anything you tell me about how you acquired her.

CARVING AN OLD FACE
ONLINE CLASS: Carving an Old Face DATES: June 7, ll, 14, 18, 21, and 25. TIMES: 4:00-6:00 p.m., Central Time COST: $160, which includes your roughout. Extra roughouts are $24.
This class will focus on carving the old face, with its different, alike, and infinite varieties. The project is 6 1/2” tall, of basswood. Carvings in the pictures are not totally finished, for which I apologize, but I need to get this posted. You can contact me through my email at janetcordell.com.
TOOLS: I’m using a knife, and gouges in the following sizes: 11/30, 11/15, 11/10, 11/5, 11/3, 11/1. There are a few others that I sometimes use, but not as regularly. You don’t necessarily have to have these. Your own favorites will work best for you, in most situations. The main requirement is for them to be sharp.
Registration is done by contacting me, telling me you want in, and sending a check. I’ll send your roughout, and when it’s time, an email with the links for attending the class and accessing the videos. Thank you to the Woodcarving Academy for hosting.
I look forward to carving with you. If you have questions, just ask.
